Spicy Banana Fritters
This is a favorite snack of mine that my maternal grandmother Achamma used to make when I was growing up in Madras ( now Chennai ). Since my grandmother was from Andhra Pradesh a lot of the food she made were Andhra favorites. It is also often served as a side dish with the main meal. Raw bananas are cooked in a myriad ways in India and spicy banana fritters is one of the delicious methods. Ripe banana is a fruit but the raw one is equally popular as a vegetable. This recipe is for a large raw green banana.
